Earth Day in the Hood
Earth Day in the Hood
Jaffee Judah is a realistic author, public speaker, podcaster, hip-hop, reggae, and spoken word artist from Nashville, TN. With a unique perspective on the experience and telling the stories of youth that are more likely to be in contact with the court system, who are disproportionately impacted by poverty, a lack of resources, and who live in food deserts, Jaffee is bringing to light these experiences to the world.
Jaffee Judah’s work is inspired by his own incarceration and dedication to rehabilitating and inspiring our youth in the juvenile detention systems. Jaffee developed what would become “ EARTH DAY IN THE HOOD ” while serving a prison sentence on multiple charges at the age of 15.
With seven years in prison growing and learning, Jaffee dedicated his life to inspiring others in similar positions to know that there is something better ahead, you just have to keep waking up!
